Origin of Multinational Companies

Multinational business is not a new phenomenon. Many Business firms of the West operated in many parts of the world from the very beginning of the modern era. Multinational business got boost particularly during the colonial era. Business firms of the Western countries focused on each colony's exports and imports on their home countries. Their purpose was to suppress any colonial production that competed with products of the mother country. These colonial-type firms have been extinct since 1960.

During the beginning of the twentieth century, many big-sized business firms emerged in the US, UK and West Europe. Some examples of such firms are Singer Sewing Machine, General Electric, Fiat, Kodak, IT&T, Ciba, Imperial Chemicals, Ford, Nestle, Siemens, and Uniliver. Some of these companies started to invest in overseas manufacturing facilities. Other companies expanded their business overseas. But the rush to operate internationally started during the 1960s. This resulted in substantial direct investment of Western countries in foreign manufacturing facilities. In the 1960s, firms like banks, insurance companies, marketing consultants, and the like expanded overseas. Thus, after 1960s, multinational companies became quite common.

In the 1970s, the pattern reversed. Big business houses of Asian Countries started investing in the Western countries, mainly in the US. As a result, many Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, Chinese, and Indian companies started their operations in the Western countries. Thus, the most dramatic developments of the 20th century had been the expansion of MNC's across the world.

Today, the presence of MNCs is widespread. Their importance has been growing in the world economy. Really speaking, the MNCs have become the primary engines for globalization of economic activities. It is not surprising, therefore, that the MNCs, as they are called, are seen as one of the major features of the current world economy.

Nature of Education

In the time of developments of human culture education starts to develop. With the change of society its changes the nature of education too. According to time education starts to evolve itself according to condition is a nature of education. In a simple way we can say that nature of education is to learn or way to start follow the knowledge or education in childhood. Normally education is classified according to their nature which are as follows:

Formal Education
Formal education is to gain education with specific books, and with rules and with goals to attend accordance to the education, We can say it regular education too. In these type of education at certain ending point of the training or learning, they need to prepare for exam which decide them to fail or pass. School, Campus, University are the institute who teaches formal education. It those not effect by the desires of attendance but need to accept the specific rules and regulation.

Actually formal education is known as education of the country education. By these kind of education it cannot complete the whole education system of society. To gain education there will be no respect for their freedom, or democracy value and respects. So, the critics use to say it is expensive way of education, lack of creativeness, etc.

Non Formal Education
The ways of getting education rather than boundaries or outside of formal education by certain goals and times is known as non formal education. These kind of education is exact difference than formal education. For eg: Scout Training, Agriculture development training, educational radio and television program, Population education, etc.

Non formal education are can modified according to desire of attendance or practical and skillful knowledge or training. In comparison of formal education, Non formal education are low on cost, easy to attend, and result oriented.

In the time of beginning of human developments the term of education also starts to .Education is the way of gaining knowledge. That's why education is any terms to get a knowledge. In the human life we can learn any kind of knowledge through out our life which can be called as education. So that we can say that education is such a tools which change human life into more step that of other living beings.

If the combined ratio is less than 100, premiums alone are sufficient to cover both losses and expenses to the line.

The loss ratio measures the actual losses incurred on a specific policy line. It measures the ratio of losses incurred to premium earned (premium received and earned on insurance contracts because time has passed without a claim being filed). Thus, a loss ratio of less than 100 means that premiums earned were sufficient to cover losses incurred on that line.
